This asset was made as fan art based on the game Battlefield 5, for the opportunity to work out the payplain sohdaniya hard surfacing weapon models for first-person shooters.
3d model of German hand grenade, fully finished asset for first-person shooter game. The model was made according to the standard piplane for first-person shooters. Fusion 360 program was used to create High poly model, and then added small and medium details of shape and material defects in Zbrush program. Maya program was used to create low poly model and UV mapping, this approach allowed to prepare a very detailed model while reducing the number of polygons and making LOD models more optimized without significant changes in the appearance of the model. Substance painter program was used for baking normal maps and painting PBR textures. The final model with textures was prepared for the Unity game engine. The model has optimized LOD models to increase performance in the game and when you move away from the camera reduces the number of polygons and texture size. Textures are prepared in such a way to increase the detail on areas of interest and reduce their size in places where possible, to reduce the overall size of the game asset.
